Personal preference setting
of picture and sound
Here also you can switch on OSD (see
appropriate section ‘Calling up OSD’).
Note: The contrast and the HUE are
not reported via OSD.
Picture and sound have already been
set in the factory in accordance with
the average standard. It is however
possible to set both picture and sound
according to your personal preference
and to store these settings in the
memory.
As a result the factory setting is
cancelled.
Setting
To do this, press the plus + or minus
— side of the relevant controls.

HUE (tint) tid only with NTSC.

• Press button D (^). The changes
implemented are now stored in the
memory.
Operating the TV

Switching on/off
• To switch on: Press button
© POWER. (The TV switches on to
programme number 1.)
At the top right of the picture PR 1 may
appear, possibly with the name of the
station.
The indicator © will also light up.
Note 1; If indicator © lights up, you
must press a digit button on the remote
controi.
Note 2: You can switch off the TV by
pressing button © POWER again.

TV mode
From TELETEXT mode and
EXTERNAL*, switch back to TV
programme choice.
• Press button O.
* External refers to modes 1C3*- or
2 Q» for sets linked to the
Euroconnector EXTERNAL 1 and/or
EXTERNAL 2.
Programme selection
Select the required programme number
with the digit buttons.
• For programme numbers which
consist of 2 digits first press button
• Back to one-digit programme
numbers: Press button again.
Note: When seiecting a programme
number, the seiected programme
number and, if required, the
programme station name appear on
the top right of the screen for ± 3 sec.
With stereo broadcasts ‘STEREO’
appears at the same time.
With dual language sound, the text
DUAL I or DUAL II will also appear.
