stereo sound
1. When selecting a programme
number, if the broadcast is in stereo
this is displayed for a moment on the
screen.
2. As an indication that the sound is
broadcast in stereo, after switching on
OSD, STEREO appears on the screen.
If required you can return to mono
reproduction.
• Press button MONO V. Indicator V
lights up.
If required, press button MONO V
again to return to stereo sound.
Surround sound
(if 4 extra loudspeaker boxes are

During stereo broadcasts you can
switch on the surround sound effect as
The effect can be further increased by
pressing the Q 0 button. Indicator oo
lights up.
In case of mono reproduction the
(REAR) loudspeakers will not produce
any sound.
• If you press the oo button, you will
switch on the (REAR) loudspeakers.
Spatial sound - stereo or
mono
It is possible to give the sound an extra
spatial effect.
• Press button Q 0 . Indicator QO lights
up.
• Press button Q 0 again to return to
normal stereo or mono sound.

Picture/contour
sharpening
Depending on your preference you can
switch on the picture/contour
sharpening facility.
To switch on
• Press button CD. Indicator CD lights
up.
To switch off
• Press button CD again. Indicator CD Is
no longer lit.
