Main Rotor Grip Replacement
Remove both blade bolts and main rotor blades. Remove the linkages from both
blade grip mixers. Remove the two spindle screws and the blade grips can be
easily removed. Reinstall the parts in the reverse order listed above.
Replacing the Flybar
Loosen the screws on both fl ybar paddle collars. Rotate the paddles counter
clockwise to remove the paddle and the collar from the fl ybar. Loosen the screws
on the fl ybar carrier (both sides). At this point the fl ybar can be slid out of the
fl ybar carrier. Slide the new fl ybar into the fl ybar carrier and ensure that the new
fl ybar is centered. Tighten the fl ybar carrier screws and reinstall the paddles.
Ensure that the paddles are equal distances out on the fl ybar and tighten the
fl ybar paddle collar screws.
