QUICK START CHECKLIST

WARNING!! The instruction manual must be read completely before operating
the Heli-Max AXE CXn Helicopter. It contains specifi c warnings about safety and
use of the LiPo fl ight battery supplied with the AXE CXn. All of these warnings and safety
steps must be read and understood before proceeding to the next step.

1. Plug the charger into an AC outlet. The
indicator light on the wall transformer will fl ash
red during initialization and then turn solid green
once initialization has been completed.

2. Plug the battery into the charger. The charge
indicator light will turn red; this indicates that
the battery is being charged. Once the battery is
completely charged, the charge indicator light will
turn solid green. Disconnect the battery from the
charger. Under normal operating conditions, the
battery may take up to one hour to recharge.

3. Open the battery cover on the back of the
transmitter, and install four AA batteries. Double
check the polarity of each battery before replacing
the battery cover.

4. Place the helicopter on its side and slide the
battery into the battery compartment. Connect
the fl ight battery and place the helicopter onto a
fl at surface.
