Why should a user under a non-administrative privilege keep the original files when un-
dergoing file encryption in NTFS format?
A
NTFS format emphasizes strongly on the file privilege strictly, therefore a User must have the
privilege to delete files before being able to delete files in NTFS format.
To set the privilege, right click on the file or folder which you wish to delete, choose Prior-
ity , and click on Security . Select the privilege of Full Control and Modify to execute the file
encryption. Now the user will be able to delete the original files.
