DUBBING
The SYNCHRO DUBBING feature lets you initiate play of a disc and recor
ding of that disc onto cassette by pressing a single button.
• Press the CD selector button.
• Insert the cassette in tape deck 1 and press RECORD.
• Insert the disc and select the desired track.
• Press SYNCHRO DUBBING.
Play of the disc and taping of it onto the cassette begin simultaneously.
NOTE: See “Important Recording Points,” page 23, for additional recording
guidelines.
Compact Disc EDiT Feature
Use the EDIT feature on the CD player to automatically calculate the number
of tracks on a selected disc that will fit on a cassette of a designated length.
This feature prevents “running out of room” during a recording.
1. Press CD to select the compact disc player.
2. Insert the ceissette you will record on in tape deck 1.
a Press RECORD to prepare the tape deck to record.
4. insert the disc you want to record from and select it using the DISC
SELECT button.

5. Press the EDIT button.
The display flashes the selected disc and shows the EDIT message. It als(
shows 46:00 as the preliminary setting for total playing time of the cassett(
(Total playing time includes both sides.)

6. To change the cassette’s total playing time, press »H or The options
available are 46, 54, 60, and 90 minutes — standard playing times for
cassettes.
