For best results, do not preheat when broiling
unless your recipe recommends it.
1. Place the STURDIGLIDE''^” rack so that the
surface of the food is no less than 3 inches away
from the broil burner. See “Broiling guidelines,”
pp. 19, 20.
2.
Put your food on the broiler pan and place the
pan in the center of the oven rack. Close the
door.
