M1 CHUTE ASSEMBLY & OPERATION
VERTICAL TAILGATE
13.1 Vertical tailgate Rope Routing Instructions
Step 3: Route the
rope to the top pulley
located at the top of
the chute.
NOTE: The rope must
be on the inside of the
tailgate to function
properly.
After the rope is
through the top pulley,
route the rope to the
front of the chute.
Step 1: Tie the rope to the
loop on the tailgate latch.
Step 2: Route
the rope through
the bottom of the
pulley.
