ADVICE
In case of emergency:
- Keep calm.
- Protect the victim and the place of the accident DO NOT MOVE A VICTIM unless there is a risk
of a new accident
- Alert the emergency services Today there is a single emergency number in all European
countries, 112. To give concise and effective information, give in the following order:
- the number of the telephone you are calling from.
- the precise location of the accident (town, street, number, near etc).
- the nature of the accident and the continuing risks.
- the number of people involved.
- the apparent state of the victims.
- what has been done for them.
- While waiting for the emergency services, reassure the victim.
ROAD ACCIDENTS
Park you car properly.
Switch on the hazard lights of the vehicle involved in the accident if possible. Place warning
signs 150 metres in front of and behind the accident. Do not move the victims. In the case of
motorcyclists, do not remove their helmet. CALL THE EMERGENCY SERVICES
