Test 1: Primary Server Off – Secondary Server Takes Over
The system is running in normal mode. The Primary Server has the control. The primary server gets
powered off. How long does it take the secondary server to take over and the full functionality will available
again?

The Secondary Server has control and runs standalone (because the Primary Server is unavailable). The

init and OS boot) to take over. How long is the functionality unavailable when the primary takes back
control? Unavailable time is marked red.
