«Insert a video cassette with the erasure prevention tab

intact.
When a video cassette is already inside the VTR, press
the VTR On/Off Switch to turn it on.

«Make sure that the “Timer Record” is not switched On.
•Reset the Tape Counter to “0:00.00”.

•Set the Input Signal Selector to “Tuner".
«Press the VTR/TV Selector to “VTR” position.

For the NV-H65BA no selector is fitted.

Select on the VTR, the programnne position (channel)
to be recorded. In order to confirm proper reception,
turn on the TV set and select the video playback
channel (AV).

When a video cassette with broken out tab is inserted,
it will be automatically ejected.

•During recording, the programme position (channel)

on the VTR cannot be changed.

Press the Pause/Still Button (IB) to stop the tape

temporarily. Programme position (channel) can be
changed, if desired.

•Press the Pause/Still Button (SI) again to continue

the recording.

•If you leave the VTR in the pause mode for more than

5 minutes, the VTR will automatically switch over to
the stop mode to protect the tape and the video

heads.

You can watch one programme on the TV while recording
another on the VTR.
