Automatic Security Code Setting
Each time you place the handset bn the base unit, the unit automatically
selects one of more than a million security codes. These codes help
prevent the unauthorized use of your telephone line by another cordless
telephone user.
How to Use the PAUSE Button
(For Analog PBX Line/Long Distance Service Users)
We recommend you press

if a pause is
required for dialing with a PBX or to access a long distance service.

(9) ^ IREPIAL/PAUSE] or IPAUSEI
Phone number
•Pressing iREDIAL/PAUSEl or 1 PAUSE! once creates a 3.5 second pause. This
prevents misdialing when you redial or dial a stored number.
•Pressing iREDIAL/PAUSEl or iPAUSEl more than once increases the length of
the pause between numbers.
