Selecting the Ringer Volume
You can set the handset and base unit ringer volumes to HIGH, LOW or
OFF. If set to OFF, the handset/base unit will not ring.
Handset ringer volume
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode initiaily.

Press IFUNCTION/CHI.
Press ® or ® repeatedly until the
arrow points to
“Ringer volume”,
and press 0
(Yes
key).

Press ® or ® to select the desired
volume.
•The selected volume is displayed and rings.
•To turn the ringer OFF,
press and hold
® until 2 beeps sound.
To turn the ringer ON, press (0 or ®
in step 3.
•The ringer will sound at the LOW level.

•You can also select the ringer volume while
a call is being received. Press ® or ®
while the unit is ringing.
•When set to OFF,
“Ringer
o f f ” will flash for about 45 seconds before the
handset returns to the standby mode.
Base unit ringer volume
Make sure the unit is in the standby mode
initially. (You can also select the ringer HIGH
volume while a call is being received.)
•To select HIGH or LOW,
press
[HOLD/RiNGERl.
Each time you press the
button, the selected ringer volume will be
low
displayed and ring.
•To turn the ringer OFF,
press and hold
IHOLD/RINGERI
until 2 beeps Sound.
OFF
“Ringer off”
will be displayed.
•To turn the ringer ON, press
iHOLD/RINGERl. The ringer will sound at
the HIGH level.
