Trap Configuration

Traps are messages that require management attention and are routed to the Network Manager, but do
not trigger alarms. Use the Trap Configuration screen to view the current configuration and to enable
or disable traps for the 2370. See Figure 13 and Table 14. To configure traps, follow these steps:

1. From the System Configuration menu type

, "Trap Configuration," and press .

2. At the Trap Configuration screen, type the number for a trap and press .

Note: "Master Trap Control" enables or disables all traps; the default is Disabled.

2. Press to cycle to Enabled or Disabled and press .

3. To return to the System Configuration menu, press .
