HEADLIGHT OPERATION
1. Adjust size of illumination spot by turning grooved dial on luminaire. Spot size ranges

from .75 inch to 3 inches (20 mm to 75 mm) in diameter with a 16 inch (40 cm)
working distance.

2 a.

Use knobs at top and rear of rigid headband to adjust for fit and comfort. Bottom
of headband should be even with tops of ears.

CAUTION

: Overtightening adjustment knobs will damage the gear teeth.

2 b.

Adjust the velcro on the soft headband for a snug and comfortable fit.

3. For greatest comfort, use gown clip to secure fiber optic bundle to user’s surgical

gown (see figure).
