1.0 Introduction
This manual provides assembly and operating instructions for the RL1200 portable beam scale, which is avail-
able in both avoirdupois and metric. Please read all instructions carefully before assembling the scale.
This manual covers the installation and setup of two versions of the RL1200:
• Mechanical assembly of RL1200
• Mechanical to electronic conversion option for the RL1200
Instructions on assembling the mechanical to electronic version of the RL1200 can be viewed in Section 4.0 on
page 15.
