Spark Plug Test // Testen der Zündkerze // Test de la bougie // Test per la candela
Remove the spark plug and reattach
the plug wire/boot. Place the threaded
end of the spark plug against the
muffl er. Turn over the engine and look
for a spark.
Schrauben Sie die Zündkerze heraus
und stecken den Stecker wieder auf.
Halten Sie das Gewinde der Zündkerze
gegen den Auspuff. Ziehen Sie den
Anreissstarter und achten auf
einen Funken.
Retirez la bougie de la culasse.
Rebranchez-la à l'antiparasite, placez
la partie fi letée de la bougie contre le
silencieux et actionnez le lanceur.
Une étincelle devrait se produire.
Togliere la candela e ricollegarla al suo
fi lo. Avvicinare la parte fi lettata della
candela al silenziatore. Far girare il
motore e verifi care che ci sia la scintilla
sulla candela.
Confi rm the spark plug is working. // Überprüfen Sie die Funktion der Zündkerze.
// Confi rme que la bougie fonctionne. // Si ha conferma che la candela funziona.

The engine will not start if too much
fuel is in the cylinder. Excess fuel can
be removed. Drain excess fuel by
removing the spark plug and following
the steps below.

Zylinder wird der Motor nicht starten.
Überschüssiger Kraftstoff kann durch
herausdrehen der Zündkerze wie folgt
entfernt werden.

1. Remove the spark plug. Pull the start 3 times quickly.
2. Replace the spark plug and make sure the boot is
tightly secured.
1. Drehen Sie die Zündkerze heraus. Ziehen Sie den
Anreissstarter drei Mal schnell.
2. Schrauben Sie die Kerze wieder rein und stecken den
Kerzenstecker richtig auf.
1. Retirez la bougie. Actionnez le lanceur 3 fois rapidement.
2. Replacez la bougie et vérifi ez que l'antiparasite est
correctement inséré.
1. Togliere la candela. Tirare velocemente l'avviatore
per 3 volte.
2. Rimettere la candela accertandosi che il suo cappuccio
sia ben innestato.

CAUTION: Do not test the spark plug near the spark plug hole or residual
fuel may ignite.
ACHTUNG: Testen Sie die Zündkerze nicht neben der Zylinderöffnung, da
sich sonst restlicher Kraftstoff entzünden könnte.
ATTENTION: Ne testez pas la bougie à proximité de son puis, les résidus
de carburant pourraient s'enfl ammer.
ATTENZIONE: non provare la candela vicino al suo foro, altrimenti i residui
di carburante si potrebbero incendiare.
