Pin 16: V_BAT_RTC:
The Pin V_BAT_RTC allows the SBS MARS to source the RTC voltage to the powered system.
Following devices must be additionally populated to use this feature:
h Diode D3 e.g. a BAT54A
h Resistor R12 with a 0Ω resistor to connect the voltage
Pin 19: ATX_PG#:
This signal is already available on the ATX connector on the output side. Additionally it can be
connected to the feature connector.
To use this function please populate:
h Resistor R12 with a 0Ω resistor.
Pin 21: PWRBTN#
The power button of the backplane can be connected to the power button of the SBS MARS to have
one single power button in the system. (

To use this function please populate:
h Diode D4 with e.g. BAT54A
h Resistor R16 with a 0Ω resistor.
The 24pin flatfoil cable which is part of the evaluation kit of the SBS MARS can be used to connect
the PCB of the SBS MARS with the COM baseboard from Kontron to use the above described
functions.
