command to the probe after it is turned on.
HI-4422 F IELD P ROBE
When remotely operating the probe with commands manually entered from a
computer keyboard, the HI-4422 may sleep between commands, especially if the
sleep timer is set to a one or two second interval. The HI-4422 may appear
unresponsive to commands, or may appear to skip commands. If this occurs,
send an S0 command, and keep sending the command as fast as possible until
the probe responds with :S, and the sleep timer is turned off. Then the probe will
provide the proper responses.
