If a Dataram memory board does not function properly we will issue a
Return Material Authorization number (RMA#) for the return of the
defective module(s) and express ship a repair or replacement to you at
no charge.

SYSTEM AND MEMORY OVERVIEW

Note:
Refer to your system owner’s manual for detailed instructions and be
sure to follow all static and safety precautions.

p5+ Models 285, 520, 505, 510, 520

• Memory is installed on a system board that has eight DIMM sockets

• The minimum memory requirement is 1GB (2 x 512MB DIMMs)

• The maximum memory capacity is 32GB (8 x 4GB DIMMs)

• Although memory “features”, or “kits” are available in pairs of

matched DIMMs, it is strongly recommended that memory
configurations consist of groups of matched “quads”—four matched
DIMMs—for best performance.


p5+ Model 550

• Memory is installed on one or two processor cards, each having eight

DIMM sockets

• The minimum memory requirement is 1GB (2 x 512MB DIMMs)
• The maximum memory capacity is 64GB (16 x 4GB DIMMs) with two

processor cards

• Although memory “features”, or “kits” are available in pairs of

matched DIMMs, it is strongly recommended that memory
configurations consist of groups of matched “quads”—four matched
DIMMs—for best performance.
