Before you start filming, switch on
the sound source and, with the
earphone
connected to the camera,
monitor the sound by pressing the shutter
trigger halfway. If the sound is too low or
distorted, adjust the volume control of the
auxiliary source (stereo, TV, etc.). Once
you have made this adjustment, the
volume will be controlled automatically
by the camera to the most appropriate
level.
Notes
1. Setting the tone switchOto CLEAR will
have no effect upon sounds coming
from an auxiliary source.
2. It is recommended to use Connecting
Cord C300L. With a different cord, the
sound may not be recorded. Check
that sound is being recorded with the
earphone.
3. Please follow the instructions for the
auxiliary sound source.
