START FILMING

1. While checking the exposure (and

monitoring the sound), focus (pp.

14—15) and compose the picture by

zooming (p. 17).

2. If the microphone is connected, turn

the microphone switch ON. Make sure

the main switch is set to “R” and press

the shutter trigger all the way in to

start filming (and recording).

3. Turn the main switch to “RL” (p. 13) if

you wish. Zoom as desired.

If Microphone DM30R is connected,

its switch must be ON or the camera
