How sound is recorded on a video tape

The \ CK reeords sound onto two separ.ite traeks. Hi-ti audio is recorded
onto the main track along with tire picture. Monaural sound is recorded
onto the normal audio track along the edge ot the tape.

Notes

• To plav a tape in stereo,

\’OU

must use the A/V connections.

• When you pla\' a tape recorded in monaural, the sound is heard in monaural

regardless ot the AUDIO MONITOR setting.

• If the AUDIO MONITOR button does not function, check that .AUDIO MIX in the

ADVANCED OPTIONS menu is set to OFF.
