Connecting a Phone Line
You need to connect a phone line to take advantage ot online services, the
Internet, and Sony Online Support. The phone line also enables you to
register your computer and software online.

Pull the PC card release buttons away from the computer.

Plug one end of the phone cable into the phone line jack on the
computer.

Plug the other end into the wall jack.
^ Your computer does not work with party lines, cannot be connected to a coin-operated
telephone, and may not work with multiple phone lines or a private branch exchange
(PBX).
