Using the Communication Center
While lia\’ing a telephone conversation, vou can:
Option
Answer call waiting
Receive a fax while
online
Hang up
Record the conversation
Adjust speaker volume
Play a message online
Mute the audio
Description
Click the FLASH button to disconnect the tine for
five seconds to answer call waiting (when ax ailable
from vour telephone company), or to transfer the
call (in a multiple line telephone system).
Click the MENU button and select Manual Fax
Receive to receive a fax while online.
Click the HANGUP button to finish the
conversation.
Click the MESSAGE button, then click the REC
button on the Messages screen. (There may be legal
limitations on recording conversations.)
Adjust the VOL slider.
Click the MESSAGE button, select the message you
want to play, then click the PLAY button on the
Messages screen.
Click the MUTE button when you need temporary
privacy. To restore audio transmission, click the
MUTE button again.
