Playing Discs in Various Modes
Replacing Discs While Playing
a Disc (EX-CHANGE)
You can open the disc tray wihile playing a disc so that
you can check what discs are to be played next and
replace discs without interrupting playback of the
current disc.
DISC SKIP EX-CHANGE

Press EX-CHANGE.
The disc tray opens and two disc compartments
appear. Even if the player is playing a disc, it
doesn't stop playing.

Replace discs in the compartments with new ones.

Press DISC SKIP.
The disc tray turns and other two disc
compartments appears.

Replace discs in the compartments with new ones.

Press EX-CHANGE. ■
The disc tray closes.
While the disc tray is open by pressing the EX-CHANGE
button
• If the playback of the current disc ends, the player stops
playing. If the disc is played in 1 DISC Repeat play mode
(page 23), the current disc starts playing again.
• In ALL DISCS Shuffle Play mode (page 24), titles / tracks are
reshuffled on the current disc.
• In Program Play mode (page 25), only the titles/tracks on
the current disc are played.
Note
Do not push the disc tray to close in Step 5, as you may
damage the player.
Playing Repeatedly
(Repeat Play)
You can play all discs, all titles/tracks on a disc, a
single title/chapter/ track or a specific portion
Repeating all discs
In Shuffle or Program Play mode, the player repeats
the titles or tracks on all discs in the shuffled or
programmed order.
You cannot do Repeat Play during PBC playback of
VIDEO CDs (page 17). You may not be able to do
Repeat Play depending on the DVD.
Press REPEAT during playback until "ALL DISCS"
"REPEAT" appears on the screen and on the front
panel display.
The player repeats the discs/titles/chapters/ tracks as
follows:
When the disc is played in The player repeats
Continuous Play All the titles or tracks in all
(page 10 or 14) discs ("ALL DISCS", and
"REPEAT" appear.)
Shuffle Play All the titles or tracks in all
(page 24) discs in random order ("ALL
DISCS," "REPEAT" and
"SHUFFLE" appear.)
Program Play (page 25) Programmed titles /chapters
/tracks in all discs ("ALL
DISCS," "REPEAT" and
"PGM" appear.)

To cancel repeating all discs
Press CLEAR.
Note
While repeating all discs, playing stops at PBC playback of
VIDEO CD or DVD having title menu.
