2. TOMEI TITANIUM STRAIGHT PIPE INSTALLATION.
【ILLUSTRATION OF PARTS LOCATION WHEN INSTALLED】
The image below shows where the parts are positioned when to be installed.
Re-use the stock bolts, nuts, springs and muffler side gasket.
① STRAIGHT PIPE F T1 36.0N.m (3.6kgf-m)
② STRAIGHT PIPE R T2 31.0N.m (3.1kgf-m)
③ GASKET T3 18.0N.m(1.8kgf-m)
④ CLAMP BAND [16.0N.m(1.63kgf-m)]
⑤ A/F SENSOR PLUG [40.0～50.0N.m(4.1～5.7kgf-m)]
⑥ COPPER WASHER
【INSTALLATION PROCEDURE】
1. Insert the clamp band that is supplied with the straight pipe R, then temporarily assemble it to the
straight pipe F. ※Straight Pipe F (as above ①) ・Straight Pipe R (as above ②) ・ Use the supplied
clamp band (as above ④).
2. Attach the straight pipe muffler ASSY to the removed side gasket from the stock catalytic
converter.
3. Install the supplied gasket to the front joint pipe (as above ③).
4. Use the stock bolts, nuts, springs to temporarily attach the straight pipe ASSY.
Whilst focusing on the clearance of each part, perform the final tightening in order from the front.
TORQUE SPECS T-1 [36.0 N.m (3.6 kgf-m)] T-2 [31.0 N.m (3.1 kgf-m)]
T-3 [18.0 N.m (1.8 kgf-m)]
6 Again confirm that the clearance of each part is correct, then tighten the inserted portion of
the clamp band.
TORQUE SPECS (as above ④) [16N・m (1.63kgf-m)]
7 Install the bung and copper washer provided if your are not replacing the A/F sensor.
TORQUE SPECS (as above ⑤・⑥) [40.0～50.0 N.m (4.1～5.7 kgf-m)]
＜KIT CONTENTS TORQUE SPECS＞
※Apply the bolt smooth paste that is supplied in the kit to prevent metal burns and seizures to the bolts and nuts.
