REQUIRED TOOLS
These tools are the bare minimum required for the job.
CAUTION
■ This product is designed for competition used ONLY. Not to be used on public roads.
■ This product is to be fitted by an experienced professional in a fully equipped workshop.
■ This product was specifically designed to be application specific. This is not a universal product.
If installed on any other vehicles/engines, this product may sustain damage and/or cause engine failure.
■ Do not use excessive force when removing and installing parts. As this may cause damage to the parts
and related components.
WARNING
■ This product is to be installed when the engine is cold to prevent risk of burns.
■ Carefully check that there are no missing parts as it can pose a fire risk and possible terminal engine
failure if something has not been installed correctly. Double check everything before starting the engine.
1. REMOVING THE STOCK CATALYTIC CONVERTER
The procedure is described here are simple instructions. Refer to the workshop service manual for
more detailed information.
1. Disconnect the battery's negative terminal connector.
2. Remove the catalytic converter ASSY.
・ Keep the stock bolts, nuts and springs after you have removed them, you will
need to use these again when installing the new Tomei part.
