1. REMOVING THE STOCK AIR INTAKE PIPE.
The following instructions is just the basic essentials. Please refer to the workshop service manual for
more detailed information relating to the installation.
1. Disconnect the negative terminal connector from the cars battery.
2. Remove the cars strut tower brace.
3. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the stock intake pipe from both the turbine and intercooler sides.
2. INSTALLING THE TOMEI AIR INTAKE PIPE.

※ The hose band size is stamped on the body.
【INSTALLATION PROCEDURE】
1. Use the hose clamps (55.65), to install the φ45-φ51mm tapered silicon hose to the turbocharger side.
2. Use the hose clamp (75) to fit the φ60 silicon hose onto the intercooler side.
3. The intake pipe is then installed onto the silicone hoses.
4. Tighten each part whilst paying attention to the clearance of each part.
Tightening Torque Each Hose Band (Upper figure ②・③・⑥) [4.9~5.8N・m (0.5~0.6kgf-m]
5. Remove any grease/oil from the Titanium pipe.
・If any dirt and/or oil is left on the pipe, this can lead to uneven colouring of the pipe later.
Once installation is completed, please throughly clean the pipe or any unwanted oil/grease and dirt.
6. Fit the strut tower brace.
7. Reconnect the battery's negative terminal battery.
