INSTALLATION
1. Please refer to the genuine maintenance manual and then please remove the V-Belt Cover, V Belt,
Air Con Belt Tensioner, Crank Pulley, Timing Belt cover, Timing Belt Guide.
2. Fit the Timing Belt Guide with the bolts supplied in the kit.
1) Temporarily tighten the bolts.
2) Please check the timing belt guide and the timing belt guide
clearance.
【Clearance: 1.0 ± 0.5mm (0.039 ± 0.020 in) 】
3) Once the clearance is confirmed you can then tighten the bolts.
【Torque Tension Settings: 10Nm (1.0kgf-m) 】
3. Fit the Timing Belt Cover.
【Torque Tension Settings: 5Nm (0.5kgf-m) 】
4. Fit the Crank Pulley
1) Temporarily tighten the crank pulley bolt.
【Torque Tension Settings: 44N・ m (4.5kgf-m) 】
2) Thoroughly tighten the crank pulley.
【Torque Tension Setting 】
EJ205 Engines：130 Nm (13.3kgf-m)
EJ255
：180 Nm (18.3kgf-m) Engines
EJ207 ：177 Nm (18.0kgf-m) Engines
・Once the crank pulley has been fitted and the the bolt tightened please ensure that the pulley
has been set over 65°degrees.
・This is the best recommended tool to use. ( Crank Pulley Wrench Part No. 499977100）
5. Install all the other parts that was removed in the beginning.
