SELECT THE METHOD OF USE
1. Retain the Tomei recommended Exhaust valve timing if you aren't adjusting it to your needs.
Leave the dowel pin intact. Pre-install the cam gear on the
camshaft. Install the M5 bolt and
torque to 0.55kgf・m (5.4N・m)
2. When using the slide function.
Use a pin punch to hammer it in from the
opposite side.
Use tape or cloth to protect the camshaft from
possible damages.
Remove the dowel pin that are
press-fitted into the cam shaft.

Install the cam gear & adjust the scale to
suit the camshaft.
Install and tighten the M5 Bolts
0.55kgf・m (5.4N・m)
One scale mark is 4° crank angle.
Use it to suit the engines specification.
