Close the computer cover

Front-Panel Inserts
If you are installing a new floppy or CD/DVD drive rather than replacing a drive, remove the front-panel inserts.
1.
Open the computer cover
to a 90-degree angle and release the insert tabs from inside the computer.
2.
Press on the insert until it pops free of the front panel cover.
Floppy Drive

Shut down the computer through the Start menu.
2.
Ensure that your computer and attached devices are turned off. If your computer and attached devices did not automatically turn off when you shut
down your computer, turn them off now.

NOTICE:
To connect a network cable, first plug the cable into the network wall jack and then plug it into the computer.
