You can also use File Explorer to find files on your device and to organize
your files into folders. On the Start menu, tap Programs
→
File Explorer.
Backing Up Data
To prevent or minimize data loss, you should periodically back up the data
stored on your device. Use ActiveSync to synchronize the files on your device
with the files on your computer. You can also drag and drop files from your
device to your computer using Windows Explorer. See the ActiveSync Help
on your computer for additional information. Also see, "Installing and Using
ActiveSync" on page 86.
NOTE:
To prevent data loss, a portion of the main battery will keep data safe for
72 hours if your device runs out of power. An additional battery, the internal
backup battery, is designed to keep your data safe when you remove the main
battery. The internal backup battery will keep data safe for 30 minutes.
