Removing the Battery Extension Board

Remove the battery (see

Remove the module cover (see

Remove the memory module(s) (see

5.
Remove the hard drive (see

Remove the optical drive (see

7.
Remove the center control cover (see

).
8.
Remove the keyboard (see

).
9.
Remove the palm rest (see
Removing the Palm Rest
).
10.
Remove the tape to release the speaker cables from the battery extension board.
11.
Remove the tape to release the USB module cable from the battery extension board.
12.
Remove the screw that secures the battery extension board to the computer base.
