1.

Open the side door.

 

2.

Squeeze the Font ROM locking clips.

 

3.

Pull the card out.

Avoid touching the metal pins on the bottom of the card.

 

4.

Place the Font ROM in its original packaging.

If you do not have the original packaging, wrap the Font ROM in paper, and store it in a box.

5.

If you removed an option card to access the Font ROM, reinstall the option card.

6.

Close the side door.

 

NOTE:

If an option card has been installed, you may need to remove the option card before removing the Font ROM.

NOTICE:

Font ROMs are easily damaged by static electricity. Touch something metal such as the printer frame before you touch a memory card.
