Refer to Figure 5,
which, for clarity, depicts the air cart without the rear hopper
1.
Use a line (not shown), from the cart walkboard, to
tie the cart links
up to the height of the lug holes
in the implement.
2. Drive the roll pins out of the lug pins and
remove the lug pins.
3. Have a tractor slowly guide the cart backwards until
the link arm ball swivels
are aligned lug holes in
the implement. Set tractor brake.
4. Insert and secure the lug pins on the implement.
5. Shut off tractor.
ADC2220/1150 Seed Hose Connections
Refer to Figure 6
Connect primary seed hoses (tower feed hoses) from the
implement to their respective outlets on the rear cart
meter box, in left to right order.
Leave enough slack so that implement can be fully
raised, lowered, folded and unfolded.
Secure hoses to meter box using screw clamps provided.
Orient outer clamps so that they do not interfere with the
door latches on the meter.
ADC2220/1150 Electrical Connections
Make sure tractor is shut down with accessory power off
before making connections.
1. Mate the 16-pin implement harness plug to the
connector on the cart.
