product owners. Your Air Drill Implement has been
designed with care and built by skilled workers using
quality materials. Proper setup, maintenance, and safe
operating practices will help you get years of
satisfactory use from the machine.

Note: Non-HD CTA4000 models are covered by a
different family of manuals.

Description of Unit
The CTA4000HD is a pull-type implement for volumetric
seeding. A fan on a companion air cart creates an airflow
to supply seed and dry granular treatments to the
implement.
The CTA4000HD Air Drill Implement is compatible with
the following Great Plains air carts:
• ADC2350 Air Drill Cart, when cart is ordered with a
168-395A kit (bundle sequence number 13)
• ADC2220 Air Drill Cart, when cart is ordered with a
168-308A kit (bundle sequence number 13)
• ADC1150 Air Drill Cart, when cart is ordered with a
168-313A kit (bundle sequence number 13).
Carts introduced after the release of this manual may
also be compatible. Consult your Great Plains dealer.
Intended Usage
Use the implement and cart to seed
production-agriculture crops only. Do not modify the
implement for use with attachments other than Great
Plains options and accessories specified for use with the
implement.
