Add fuel to hopper
Plugged firepot
Clean firepot. Clear all holes of
ash or debris.
Igniter slipped out of torque arm
Push igniter back into place
Igniter failed
Test igniter output leads on IM.
Confirm air pump operation.
Replace igniter if needed.
No power to igniter
Replace IM
NO PROOF OF FIRE
PUSH “ON” TO START
Igniter failed
Test igniter output leads on IM.
Confirm air pump operation.

Pot Loading

Plugged firepot
Clean firepot. Clear all holes of
ash or debris.
Poor quality fuel
Change fuel supplier/moisture
test corn
Firepot misaligned
Make sure firepot is aligned
properly and that there is no
unburned pellets obstructing
proper alignment of firepot.

Firepot misaligned
Make sure firepot is aligned
properly and that there is no
unburned pellets obstructing
proper alignment of firepot.
Fireplate in backwards
Adjust fireplate for correct
positioning. Fireplate notches
should always face towards the
front door of the stove.
Smell of Smoke in Room

Exhaust vent is not sealed
properly
Seal all joints of exhaust vent
with high-temperature silicone
sealant.
