DUAL DRIVE™ SYSTEM CONNECTIONS

A multi-channel Dual Drive™ controller provides two sets of sur-
round (or rear) outputs and requires connecting two separate audio
signals to each EMBRACE, as shown in Figure 18. Also, two chan-
nels of amplification will be needed for each surround loudspeaker.

NOTE: Remove the shorting straps from the EMBRACE connector ter-
minals before attempting connection in the Dual Drive™ mode. Serious
damage may result to the amplifiers if this precaution is not followed.
Also, be sure to set each EMBRACE mode switch (on the front) to
“BIPOLE” when using the Dual Drive™ mode.
