1. Shut off electrical current before starting. If the fixture you are replacing is
turned on and off by a wall switch, simply turn the switch off. If not, remove
the appropriate fuse (or open the circut breakers) until the fixture is dead.
• DO NOT restore current - either by fuse, breaker or switch - until the new
fixture is completely wired and in place.
1. Fasten retainer plate (A) to outlet box with the original outlet box screws (B) - see
Drawing 1.
2. Addtional support for the retainer plate can be added by using wall anchors and
screws in keyhole slots (S) of retainer plate.

1. Assistance is recommended when installing the fixture to the ceiling.
2. Lift fixture and slip holes (E) in canopy (D) over mounting screws (F) in retainer
plate (A).
3. Thread decorative knobs (C) onto end of mounting screws (F) and tighten to secure
fixture to ceiling.
1. Follow wiring instruction sheet (IS 18), and make all necessary electrical connections.
