FORD FOCUS ST
SHIFTER PLATE
1 Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber
adaptor on the top of valve cover (leave
rubber adaptor in place). 1 Remove the MAF sensor connector. 2 Remove the air box cover. 3 Open the air duct brace. 4 Remove the battery cover.
5 Loosen up the hose clamps. 6 Remove the air box. 7 Snap off the shifter cable connector. 8 Prepare the shifter plate kit for installation.
9 Secure the shifter plate to the shifter arm.
Hold the shifter arm in place while
tightening bolts to prevent the shifter forks
damage. 10
Install the ball screw in one of two
locations.

shifter forks damage.

Snap on the shifter cable connector.

M8 socket wrench
M12 box wrench
Large flat screw driver
M7 socket wrench

Reinstall the air box. Tighten the hose
clamps. Reinstall the battery cover, the air
filter and the filter cover. Reconnect the
MAF sensor connector.
