General
This Section outlines the
procedures that are to be followed
to properly install the FlexPak Plus
SingleĆPhase DĆC Drive. Refer to
Figure 3Ć2 for mounting dimensions.
Install the Controller -
Panel Layout
The controller is designed as a
panel mount unit and must be hung
within 10_ of vertical with the rear of
the chassis firmly bolted to the
mounting surface. Do not mount the
chassis in a horizontal position.
Leave 2 inches (50 mm) clearance
between the top of one Drive and
the bottom of another Drive. This
area must remain unobstructed for
proper air circulation through the
heat sink. Do not place the
controller directly in a corner, leave
at least 8 inches (200 mm) from the
top and 6 inches (150 mm) from the
bottom of the cabinet.
Regardless of the above placement
guidelines, the user is responsible
for ensuring that the Controller's
ambient specification of 0 to 55_C i s
met. Relative humidity must be kept
within 5% to 95% without
condensation.
