Create DeviceNet Tags
1. Launch the DeviceNet Tag Generator tool.
2. Select your RSLogix 5000 project
and click Select Scanner.
3. Select the 1769-SDN scanner
module that scans the network
where the device is located and
click Select RSNetWorx Project.
IMPORTANT
Before running the DeviceNet Tag Generator, verify the following:
• RSLogix 5000 software is running and the project is open.
• RSNetWorx for DeviceNet software is closed.
