Setting Configuration of Programmable Keys
(64-Key Standard Keypad)

On a 64-key standard keypad, you can set the default configuration
of the programmable keys to Function Keys or Alpha Keys.

Function Keys
F1 - F12, S1 - S12 (shifted function keys)

You can set the configuration for all programmable keys or a
selected group of keys.

To set the default configuration to Function keys:

1. Choose Select All Programmable Keys from the Edit menu

2. Choose Set Default Configuration

The definitions of the programmable keys are updated:

F1-F12 are defined as -

S1-S12 are defined as -

Note: These are the factory default settings.

To set the default configuration to Alpha keys:

1. Choose Select All Programmable Keys from the Edit menu.

2. Choose Set Default Configuration

Alpha (a-z) Keys from the

Edit menu.

The definitions of the programmable keys are updated:

F1-F12 are redefined as a – m.

S1-S12 are redefined as n – z.

Please note that the key definitions change but the actual keys are not
relabeled with lowercase characters.

To view the definition of a key:

select the key and choose Key Configuration from the Edit menu.

or click the right mouse button on the key and select Key
Configuration from the popup menu.

or select Print Preview from the File menu to view all keys.
