Installing A Vertical Unit Load Ground Bus
and Connectors in Bulletin 2100 Sections

Applications Use this publication for installing a vertical unit load ground bus and/or unit
load ground connectors in Bulletin 2100 Motor Control Center (MCC)
sections, with series letters “E” or later. This kit is designed specifically for
standard sections, with six space factors of plug-in units. The vertical unit load
ground bus (referred to as “vertical bus” after this) will have to be shortened
for sections with factory-mounted equipment. Contact your local
Allen-Bradley sales office or distributor for instructions on how to shorten,
install and cable the vertical bus in sections with factory-mounted equipment.
Recommended Tools
• Screwdriver
• 3/8”, 7/16” wrench or socket (hex-type suggested)
• Torque wrench
