Checking the OK Status Indicator
1. Check the color of the OK status indicator.
2. Determine if this is a ControlLogix5555 controller.
If
Then
Actions
Solid green
The controller is OK and its
firmware has been updated.
No further actions are required.
However, the revision of firmware
must be compatible with your
version of RSLogix 5000 software.
Flashing red
The controller is OK but it requires a
firmware update.
Go to
Solid red
The memory board of the controller
may not be compatible with the
revision of firmware.
Go to the next step.
If
Then
No
The controller is not operational. Contact your Rockwell
Automation representative or local distributor.
Yes
Go to the next step.
