The system in addition supports you with the
following special features:
> If you do not enter a street name, you will be
guided to the centre of the town or city.
> You can skip input of the country, town or
city if you wish to retain previous inputs.
Selecting country
1. Select "Country" or the country displayed
and press the controller.
The list of available countries is displayed.
2. Select destination country and press the
controller.
With the Professional navigation system,
"Europa" can also be selected.
At least the town/city or its postcode must be
entered in order to start route guidance.
Entering a destination by town or city
name
1. Select "City" or the town/city displayed and
press the controller.
2. Select the initial letter and press the con-
troller.
A list of all places starting with that letter is
shown on the control display.
3. To delete any letters, if necessary:
> To delete individual numbers or letters:
Move the controller to the right to select
and press the controller.
> To delete all numbers or letters:
Move the controller to the right to select
and hold down the controller.
4. Enter more letters if necessary.
The list is gradually narrowed down with
every subsequent letter that you enter.
> To enter spaces, if necessary:
Select the symbol and press the con-
troller.
5. If necessary, move the highlighted marker
to the third field from the top. Turn the con-
troller until the town or city name is selected
in the list and press the controller.
