Step 1: Select Classes
The window that appears after choosing
Manual Count is the Manual Count
Colony Wizard. It contains two tabs.
The first tab is Step 1 of 2: Select Classes,
the second tab is Step 2 of 2: Finish.
The first tab allows the user to define the
region of interest inside the Petri dish to be
analyzed. The region of interest is
identified by a green circle that should
include all the colonies of interest in the
Petri dish. The software automatically
defines the region of interest but by clicking
the Define Counting Region button the
user can increase or decrease the circle
size as needed.
If a smaller or larger region of interest is
desired, click onto the Define Counting
Region button and hold and drag the
pointer over one of the corners of the circle
to change the size. Or click inside the green
circle to move the entire region of interest.
