ASSEMBLY
PT Series 10’-20’ Models LED Lamp
and Harness Installation
NOTE
Unless otherwise noted the following installation
instructions apply to all PT 10’ - 20’ Models.
1. Install outer Light Mount Brackets using existing
outer bearing hanger 5/8-11 U-Bolts, Lockwashers
and Nuts
2. On 10’-16’ Models install the inner Light Mount
Brackets approximately 36” from center line using
1/2-13 U-Bolts and 1/2-13 Locknuts. See
Figure 2-14.
3. On 17’-20’ Models attach the inner Light Mount
Brackets approximately 36” from center line using
Straps, 1/2-13 X 7-1/2 Screws, Washers, and
Locknuts. See Figure 2-14.
4. On the 10’ Model install the Amber LED inside the
Tube Light Shield, attach to the outer Light Mount
Bracket using four 1/4-20 X 1-1/2 Screws and 1/4-20
Locknuts.
5. On the 10’ Models install the Decal Plate Mounts to
the center frame end plate using 1/2-13 X 1-1/2
Screws, Washers and Locknuts.
6. On the 12’-20’ Models install the Amber LED inside
the Tube Light Shield, attach to the outer Light Mount
Bracket using four 1/4-20 X 1-3/4 Screws. Attach the
Decal Plate Mounts and secure with 1/4-20 Locknuts.
7. On the 10’ Models attach the Red LED to the inner
Light Mount Brackets using four 1/4-20 X 1-1/2
Screws and Locknuts. Ensure the red lens faces
rearward.
8. On the 12’-20’ Models install the Red LED to the
inner Light Mount Bracket using four 1/4-20 X 1-1/2
Screws. Attach the Decal Plate and secure with
1/4-20 Locknuts.
9. Attach the Light Module to the Light Module Bracket
using two 1/4-20 X 1-1/2 Screws and Locknuts. See
Figure 2-16.
10. Attach the Light Module Bracket to the front side of
frame using 3/8-16 U-Bolts and Locknuts.
IMPORTANT
Cords are marked “Left” and “Right”.
11. Raise the machine if not done previously.
12. Layout the LED Lamp Harness and attach the
harness to the Light Module.
13. Route the left and right 3 plug cord along the top of
the frame and connect to each Red LED Lamp.
14. Route the remaining left and right 2 plug cords along
the left and right top of frame and connect into each
Amber LED Lamp.
15. Layout the 7 Pin Harness and attach the harness to
the Light Module.
16. Route the 7 Pin Harness across the frame and along
the drawbar tube and over to hitch point.
17. Adjust the LED lamp angles so LED’s are vertical
with the drawbar height adjusted to the transport
height. Adjustment is provided to compensate for
high drawbar heights if used as a companion tool or
lower heights if towed directly behind a tractor. See
Figure 2-15.
18. Tighten all hardware.
19. Bundle and secure any excess cord with tie straps.
20. Apply the reflector decals to Decal Plate Mounts. The
amber reflector decals should be front facing on the
outer Decal Plate Mounts. The red reflector decals
and orange decals should be rear facing on both the
inner and outer decal plate mounts.
IMPORTANT
All wires must be firmly attached to machine frame
members, or hydraulic lines, so they don’t sag or
become torn loose by field debris. Use the cable and
hose ties provided.
21. Mount the SMV bracket to the Center Bearing
Hanger using existing hardware. Then attach the
SMV sign to the bracket using 5/16-18 X 1 Screws,
Washers and Locknuts.
IMPORTANT
Check to be sure that wiring at center of machine is
slack enough so as not to be stretched or interfered
with while rotating frame from transport to field
working position and vice versa.
