Please note that at least 20mm of the temperature sensor must be
immersed to ensure an accurate reading.
In oil baths, ensure that the oil can circulate freely around the
temperature sensor.
The instrument supports Pt1000 temperature sensors (order no.:
509-67910-00 or 509-67920-00)only.
Pt100 sensors are not suitable.
Please refer to the drawing below for the pin assignment of the Pt1000 temperature
sensor.

5 Using a heating bath
When using the instrument with a heating bath
(see Accessories), ensure that the positioning rim
on the heating bath is fitted securely over the
hotplate.
When using the 4l heating bath, a special
temperature sensor holder rod for 4l heating
baths (order no. 509-97000-00) may be attached
as shown (X).
